Sweet Thoughts of a Princess

Driving home from preschool today this is what Tayla had to say:

Mom My Favorite is a Rainbow Castle. And in this Castle I can wear a Princess dress all day. Even in the Bathtub.

Then see goes on to tell me how this dress will be special and how a heater will make it so it won't get wet.
I Love Tayla's imagination she comes up with the cutest thing. Tayla we love you.

Bye Bye diapers

Amerie is doing awsome with potty training! 3 days with out an acident. she is waking up dry from naps.She will take her self to the restroom by her self then the next thing we hear is Amerie singing "Amerie went potty yay! yay! yay!" That is her reward song when she done. I love that we can say bye bye diapers and not buy buy diapers.

This costume was huge on her but it was what we had in the Halloween box and because she wasn't going anywhere with being less then a week old we decided it would be alright.

With Halloween being on a Sunday this year and me just having a baby our Halloween was pretty low key. Tayla and Amerie went to the ward Trunk or Treat on Saturday thanks to our good friends the Ewings. Andy was on call that day so the Ewing came to the rescue and filled in as their adopted family for the night.

I didn't get any pics with Andy and Brelyn at the hospital but his is right after we got home

Well Brelyn decided that she didn't want to come out. she was too comfy. I was dilated to 5 for a week and she was in the birth canel but she just didn't want make the last effort to come see us. So on Oct 26th 6 days after her due date we went into the hospital to be inducted. I was really worried to be induced because they say PIT make contracts come hard and fast and I go natural so to say the least I was scarred. We got there at 6 in the morning to find that the hospital was full so we ended up waiting in the waiting area until 8 am. When we got in a pre room where they check you and got all situated I ask if we could just break my water and see if that would do it. So at 8:30 they broke my water. And we waited about 15min after I stared to have contractions they were coming hard and about every 5 or so min if not less in between. So we ended up not haveing to use PIT which was great. I was sitting on the birth ball and they hadn't check me since I move into a real birthing room so i asked the nurse when they usally check. she said when ever anyone complains so I said I would like to be check to see how far I was. So I climbed back on the bed and she check me and Brelyn was right there ready to come out. Nurse said hold it I need to call the Doctor that was the worst every trying to hold the baby in. With her running around frantically trying to get everything ready and yelling back and forth with another nurse trying figure out where the docter is. I telling them I need a doctor because she was coming. Dr V. finally came in right from a surgury she was doing  couple pushed and she was here. She was born at 9:45 am on the 26th. When she first came they set her on my stomach and she decided to relevie her self she peeed all over me. The joke was if she didn't pee she would have been a 8 pound baby. She look so much like Amerie that 1st day but after that she changed and didn't look like either of my other girl she look like Brelyn

Bubble Baby

So as you can see we have a new addition to our blog the floating baby in a bubble. Tayla loves this ticker. When every it is on someones blog she talks about it forever. So I thought why not  humor her and place one on our blog for the last remaining weeks. She  thinks it is cool that we now have a bubble baby.So welcome Floating Bubble Baby to our family until the real missy moo decides to make her debut.

Locks of Love

Tayla  decided a long time ago that she wanted to give her hair to someone who doesn't have any hair. When she 1st heard of it she thought she could cut her hair and give it to Amerie because she didn't have any hair. So she would go around saying "I am going to cut my hair and give it to Amerie so she can have hair too!" Well we decided to get the job done by the best hair dresser in Utah while we where there this summer.

She looked so grown up. When did my baby girl get so big? This is her real first hair cut. I have trimmed it twice before but never Cut Cut it. I am so proud of her that she wanted to donate it to someone who could use it. We took off 10 inches! She has such a giving spirit. She loves her new haircut. She tells me all the time that "she looks like Grandma Carter but she has black hair." or " I like that my hair isn't so hot on my neck" or "I look like a princess now mom." She is such a sweet girl. We love her so much and can not imagine our lives without her.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

We were fortunate to have some good friends that gave us tickets for seats right behind the home plate for the Pittsburgh Pirate game back in Aug. We love that we are so close to the two major league fields. We love going to the games and the girls love it too.

There was a George Thorogood concert at the end of the game and Fireworks. The music was so loud we couldn't make out any of the lyrics and I had no idea who he was, so the concert was kinda a bust but the fireworks were great. Amerie was asleep in my arms when the music began then about the 3rd song in she threw up all over me and the floor. I am pregnant at the time and the smell start me gagging I was real proud of myself that I didn't add to the mess that Amerie had just  made. I think that the vibrations from the music must of made her sick because she was acting fine before and after she threw up. And we could feel the beat so strong from the seat because they were so close.

Out numbered

Andy is feeling a little out numbered these days. With three women with all our emotions and girl stuff. I just keep telling him just wait until October when there is one more to gain up on him.
Yep it is a girl!

The Bad Store

We were reading scriptures last night and we at the point were it talks about Joseph Smith being tared and feathered this is how our conversation went

T: What is that?
M: Tar
T: What is tar?
M: Something that is really sticky and it hurts him.
T: Like when you leave a sticker on for along time it is really sticky and hurts to pull off.
M: Yeah something like that.
T: where did they get it?
M: I don't know?
T: They must of got it from the bad store.
M: The bad store?
T: yeah where all the mean guys go to get their mean stuff. And the store probably just throw them out and gave them the tar.

Yeah sometimes I wonder if she gets the right things out of the scriptures?

I just wanted to say how luck I am to have the Mom, Mother-in-law, and Grandmas that I have. I want to wish them all a happy Mother's day! We want to say Thank you for all that you do. WE LOVE YOU!

Mother's Day!

My Heart is so full today! This Mother's Day was wonderful! I woke up to a very very excited little girl that couldn't wait for me to open the present she made for me at her preschool. She has had it sent on top of the entertainment center since Tuesday when she brought it home. Saying couple times each day that is a surprise for Mother's Day you can look yet! She also would pick me dandelions through out the week for Mother's day. We had a couple of tears as a few died before the wonderful day. Oh how luck I am to be a the Mother of such wonderful little girls! The Lord has blessed me.

The presents keep coming as the home made cards where proudly given and the secret shirts she help Dad pick out just for me. She was so excited to be there at give the things she made just for me and the Hugs kept coming too through out the day. Oh how I love her.

Andy was wonderful also she made breakfast and help get the girls ready for church. It is so nice having him home. We ate our eggs and sausage on the run to church (we woke up a little late). We got there and Tayla had forgot her little song book that she wanted to "sing" from when they got up to sing the Mother's Day Song. She was in tears she want everything to be perfect for Mother's Day. My sweet husband being the wonderful father he is rush home to grab the song book for his little girl returning before it was her turn to sing. Her proud smiling little face was so precious as she sang out the word of the song pretending to use the little black hymnal her dad retrieved for her.

We returned home and had a nice Sunday nap and ate a wonderful meal that was prepared on the grill by Andy and enjoyed each other for the little time we had before Andy headed back to Punxsutawney.

Oh how luck I am! My cup runnth over!

Joseph Smith Hair Do!

I was doing Tayla's hair this last Sunday for church and we were in a hurry so I just pulled back her bangs in a little puffy pony, and pulled everything else in to a messy bun. When she jumped up on her stool in front of the mirror so I could hair spray it she said:

T: I am not pretty today. I look like a boy (says this with a scrunched up face)
M: What you are always pretty and you don't look like a boy.
T ( Her face brighten) I LOOK LIKE JOSEPH SMITH! Look Joseph Smith has this.
( she was pointing to her bangs pulled back with the little puff)

So she was happy to look like Joseph Smith and her hair do was alright after that.

You had a Birthday Shout Horray

Amerie turned ONE! She is such a big girl. We love having her in our family. She has the sweetest smile that will light up any ones day!

We decided to celebrate Amerie's Birthday at home with just our Family. It was nice and I think Amerie enjoyed it better because she not such a fan of other people most of the time.

Amerie has always loved anything that makes noise. She received Ellie the Elephant that sang and she loved it she would bring to us to turn it on then she would twirl and dance to the music.
